What is Cricket?
We are pleased to offer Cricket which includes unlimited calls over your
Cricket service area for the low price of around $30 per month plus taxes
and fees. You can also add a feature package to get the most from your
Cricket service.
Does Cricket +2 require a service commitment?
Yes. You will need to agree to a 12 or 24 month service commitment if
you select Cricket +2. You must maintain your Cricket service for 12-24
months consecutively or you will be billed an early termination fee.
Can I change between Cricket +2 and Cricket +1 feature packages?
Yes. You can switch between Cricket +2 and Cricket +1 at any time. A change
fee will apply and you will still be required to fulfill any service commitments
on which you previously agreed.
What calling features does Cricket offer?
Cricket currently offers caller ID, call waiting, voicemail, 3-way calling
How can I purchase features?
Just add Cricket +1 or Cricket +2 feature packages to your basic Cricket
service.
Can I purchase features individually?
We have packaged all of our most popular voice features to make things
simple. Voicemail, caller ID, call waiting, and 3-way calling are only
available in the Cricket +1 and Cricket +2 feature packages. You can add
text messaging or handset insurance separately for an additional cost.
What is caller ID?
The caller ID feature is used to identify the stranger who is calling
you. When your Cricket phone rings, you are able to easily view the number
that is calling. This feature is helpful in returning dropped calls or
avoiding unwanted calls from pesky salespeople, ex's or in-laws.
How do I retrieve my voicemail messages from my Cricket phone?
Press *99 then Send. Follow the directions you hear.
How do I retrieve my voicemail from a landline phone?
- Dial your Cricket phone number
- Once mailbox answers, press *
- Enter your pass code, or default pass code of 9999 if this is your
first time accessing your voicemail
- Then follow automated instructions
Does the envelope button on the Cricket phone show me I have
voicemail messages?
Oh Yes, the message waiting Indicator is enabled on all Cricket phones.
How can I add or remove calling features from my Cricket account?
For security purposes changes to your account must be made by phone or
by visiting a Cricket store. When calling Customer Service at 1-800-CRICKET,
you will need to verify your account information prior to updating.
Can I purchase other features or services for my phone?
Cricket offers a Phone Replacement Plan for protection against theft,
accidental loss, or damage. We also offer text messaging and in some markets
extended calling area. You can also purchase long distance and directory
assistance service points.
Does Cricket perform credit checks on its customers?
No way! Cricket does verify personal contact identification at the point
of activation, but we do not require credit checks in order for individuals
to activate Cricket service.
